ZEST Garden Contest

SHOW THE WORLD YOUR CONTAINER GARDEN CREATION!

Image

Container gardening is a fun and easy way to garden—all you need is a container, potting soil, plants and some imagination. And if you have little-to-no space, don’t worry—containers come in all shapes and sizes and can be placed almost anywhere, including entryways, balconies, rooftops, decks and patios.

Growing colorful flowers in terra-cotta pots or herbs and vegetables in galvanized animal troughs are familiar ways to container garden. Innovative gardeners, however, experiment with planting combinations, and use a variety of unusual containers such as vintage wooden boxes, soda pop crates or old metal buckets to create unique container gardens.
